Steffney Thompson, ORLT’s long time Executive Director, is stepping away from her position next month to become the director of the exciting new land conservation clinic at the UGA's School of Law. She was chosen to lead the clinic, where she will work to train the next generation of land conservation professionals. Steffney established and has shepherded ORLT’s conservation program since 1999, which to date protects over 43,000 acres of land across the state of Georgia. Her expertise, dedication, leadership, humor, and gluten-free baking will be greatly missed by her staff and board.
