Hike Along the Middle Oconee River at the Cook Conservation Easement

Join us for an easy hike through a sloped mesic forest along the Middle Oconee River on Saturday July 10th from 9:30 am - 11:30 am, where exceptionally diverse and intact habitats with many native trees, shrubs and wildflowers grow.

Join us for an easy hike through a sloped mesic forest along the Middle Oconee River on Saturday July 10th from 9:30 am - 11:30 am, where exceptionally diverse and intact habitats with many native trees, shrubs and wildflowers grow. You will also be able to view across the river where ORLT has helped preserve 105 acres with conservation easements. The property is located just north of Bear Creek Reservoir, only a short 20-minute drive from downtown Athens!
