About ORLT

The Oconee River Land Trust is a non-profit organization headquartered in Athens, Georgia, that partners with landowners to conserve natural forests and working lands along Georgia’s rivers, streams and wetlands. ORLT works with both private landowners and public entities to protect land. Since 1993, ORLT has worked with public and private landowners to protect 36,000 acres of land.

Friday, October 4th: For anyone interested in pitcher plants and other carnivorous flora, GA DNR and the GA Botanical Society will be leading a hike in SE GA at 11am to see these plants at Canoochee Bogs. For more information, go here or contact Lisa Cruse at lisa.kruse@dnr.ga.gov.
